Health Regulations
Beautiful Savior Academy is regulated by the (Arizona Department of Health Services (https://www.azdhs.gov/).
Inspection reports are available upon request or can be viewed online through the Arizona Department of Health Services link above. We carry liability insurance and the policy is available upon request.
Medications
We do not administer any medication with the exception of rescue medications such as epi-pens, respiratory inhalers, etc. If your child requires these medications to be available in case of a medical emergency, we can keep them on campus in a lock box and administered as directed. All rescue medications must be prescribed to the child with dosage requirements listed on the package. In addition, we must have a medical release form on file.
Sick Child
Preschool children are less capable of tending to their own hygiene (i.e. wiping noses with tissues) and therefore more likely to spread infections in school. To minimize communicable diseases, we bleach tables after each activity and bleach toys on a regular basis. Antibacterial hand soap and Lysol are used on a regular basis. Please help us in our battle to fight disease. If your child is not feeling well, please keep them home. A common cold is particularly communicable the first few days.
Tuition is the same if your child is out sick or not. Please see our tuition policy regarding extended absences due to severe illness.
Emergency and First Aid Procedures followed should a child be injured or become ill at school
- The director is informed immediately in the case of any injury or illness.
- The teacher follows instructions provided by the director. Only the director is authorized to open parent files, unless the director requests otherwise.
- The director is responsible for determining the extent of the injury or illness and to take the proper course of action.
- If the event is life threatening, paramedics will be called first, then the parents will be called.
