Advanced Pre-Kindergarten - Our Shining Stars!
9am to Noon

Our Advanced Pre-Kindergarten program is specifically designed for those students who miss the kindergarten cut-off or who may be age appropriate for kindergarten, but need an additional year to meet the academic, physical, or social/emotional readiness to be successful in a kindergarten class. We utilize the ABeka K4 curriculum in this class which includes a reading program. This phonics based approach is systematic and thorough with guided activities in the following areas: short and long vowel sounds, simple consonant sounds, blending of consonants and vowels, and words containing one and two vowels. The curriculum also incorporates number concepts. In addition to the ABeka curriculum our students enjoy music, art, science and literature each day building a solid foundation for kindergarten success.
